When I upgraded to 3-piece plastic crib boards from Catalina Direct, I wanted something that would keep my companionway hatch boards together when not in use. Everything in the market was breathtakingly expensive, so I decided to make my own.
The bag is made of vinyl covered cloth sewn in the shape of a flat tube with a flap to secure the end shut with a snap. A piece of 1-inch nylon webbing is sewn around both sides of the bag to create two handles.
