Tulips.com - Skagit Valley

No trip to the Tulip Festival is complete without a visit to the gardens of RoozenGaarde (Tulips.com).  They change the look every year, so even if you attended the year before, there is always something new to see.

Aside from the large variety of Tulips, Daffodils, and Irises on display, the gardens treat you different color combinations and various patterns.  Adding to adventure is seeing gardens in full sun and in partial shade.

Walking through the gardens is like walking through a living catalog as RoozenGaarde has set out signs to identify the different flowers.

Tulips come in an amazing variety of shapes, colors, heights, and sizes.

Seeing what could be accomplished in the partial shade was incredible.  It really dispelled some of my beliefs that tulips needed full sun to do well.

As the parent of a University of Washington alumni, the "W" was fun to see.

RoozenGaarde shouldn't be missed.  Its brilliant colors catch your eye, its tranquil gardens calm the soul, and its uplifting spirit reminds us to see the beauty in all things and in all people.  Its such a positive experience, you just feel good the rest of the day.

Live well, Laugh often, Love much
