North of Newport is the town of Depoe Bay. Known for great shore-side whale watching, tourist shops, and the narrow channel leading to its harbor, our motivation on this trip was lunch at theTidal Raves Seafood Grill (

Throughout lunch we watched whales. I don't think I ever waited more than a minute before seeing a whale surface.
Depoe Bay is known as the world's smallest harbor. Below is my video of the entrance.
