Ship Harbor Interpretive Reserve - Anacortes

A visit to Ship Harbor begins with a walk in the woods.
Ship Harbor is located in the NW corner of Anacortes, near Washington Park.  It serves as home to the Anacortes landing of the Washington State Ferry that visits Sidney, BC, and the San Juan Islands.  The Ship Harbor Interpretive Reserve features a trail through the trees to the west that takes you to the beach.

This was another after work adventure.  Despite the rain, we had plenty of sunny dates to entice us out of the motorhome.
