Gig Harbor RV Resort

The last stop on our 29th Wedding Anniversary trip was Gig Harbor RV Resort, site 13.  A beautiful forested facility close to Gig Harbor and situated on a terraced hill with paved roads and gravel sites.  While a very nice RV park, it's definitely not a resort.

We will definitely return, but not for extended stays where we have to rely on the quality and performance of the Wi-Fi in order to work. We tested multiple access points throughout the park and they all suffer the same problem. Wi-Fi performance varies greatly from so slow that you can't even browse the Internet to find a local restaurant, to just OK, all in the span of 60 seconds. Multiple tests throughout the day didn't reveal improvements even at 5 am. Still a very nice park, just can't expect the Wi-Fi to be reliable. Verizon 4G/LTE was a solid 3-4 bars with good data performance.

In pull-thru site 13, which we found was very level

Gig Harbor

A charming town we've visited a couple of times before.  Between the scenery and the shops, it's a great place to spend a day.  Two restaurants are worth mentioning.  We had a wonderful lunch at Il Lucano Ristorante Italiano and an amazing dinner at JW.

How interesting to see a Bayliner 38 like ours entering Gig Harbor.
