One of the benefits of staying in one place with the motorhome is that we get to learn where things are located. For example, Trader Joes, 40 miles away in Bellingham, is the closest one to Anacortes. With our shopping list in hand, we decided to visit the Fairhaven neighborhood of Bellingham before hitting Trader Joes.

We walked about, checked out a few shops, and had an awesome burger at "The Filling Station". Laura even enjoyed the pleasure of a sugar-free treat from Sirena Gelato.
We haven't explored Bellingham very much, and have only scratched the surface of what there is to do in Fairhaven. I know we will be back.
