Site #118 at Fidalgo Bay RV Resort. |
I read and contribute to RV park reviews. One of the things that is different between boating and RVing, is that marina reviews rarely gripe about the width of the docks (read space between boats). With RV park reviews, folks routinely complain about space between sites, especially if they have shown up in some McMansion on wheels with slideouts. Let's return to our six-day adventure aboard our friend's Catalina 445.
Saturday, August 4, 2018 - Port Ludlow
A sunny day spent talking with PYC members and taking walks. The Dubay's, Laura and I had lunch at the Fireside restaurant in the Port Ludlow Inn. It was a little cool in the shade and the breeze, so we ate inside.

Port Ludlow is a nice place to rent kayaks, take walks, or enjoy the company of others. Laura and I decided to take a stroll and explore some of the sights.

Laura had a fun time shopping in the marina store, and she came away with a couple of shirts and a scarf. Although not a substitute for a grocery store, I was impressed with the variety of items they had on hand.

The afternoon involved relaxing in the cockpit as PYC members dropped in for a visit. By 5:30 pm it was time to head shoreside for PYC provided appetizers followed by a steak dinner.
