Farmer's Market and the C310 In Bellingham

Music is part of the Farmer's Market
The Anacortes Farmer's market features a lot of food stalls.  For those that choose the market for lunch, you have the opportunity to listen to some really wonderful music.

Brian Ernst on stage.
On this Saturday we got to listen to Brian Ernst.  With a computer that repeats what he plays, he's a one-man band that creates music right in front of the audience.

Catalina 310 in Bellingham

A 2004 Catalina 310 came onto the market while we were in Anacortes, so after the Farmer's Market, Laura and I drove north up I-5 for an hour to Bellingham.  We met the broker at his office and headed to Bellingham Marina where the boat was berthed.

Laura Mack on a Catalina 310.
A fine C310.

As I pointed out in my August 8th post, Laura and I have started educating ourselves on possible candidates for our next cruise boat.  The Catalina 310 is our first choice, with the Catalina 320 next in line.  Desired features include:

  • In-mast mainsail furling  (must)
  • 2000 or newer  (must)
  • Full canvas enclosure  (high want)
  • Diesel heat  (high want)

Looking forward.
Portside.
Starboard.
Galley.
Aft.

It was fun dreaming about the future.  The C310 was a beautiful, and based on our past C30 mkIII experience, it would be a fine couples cruiser.
