Washington Park

Laura on the north side of Washington Park.
After work, we decided to drive out to Washington Park and walk around.  It had been a beautiful day with a few scattered clouds, so I was looking forward to leaving my RV home-office and exploring a little.

The rugged north shore of Washington Park.
The paved parameter road makes for a great walk with spectacular views.  While walkers share the one-way road with cars, the automobiles aren't numerous.

Seeing boats on the water always brings back memories of past cruises in the islands.  Our adventures have been on sailboats small and large, motor yachts, and even aboard ferries.  Laura's and my individual journeys started with Sea Scouts and Mariners, and it continues today everytime we take the helm of our boat.

This isn't Dale, this is Chip.

The afternoon out was wonderful.  We toured the park in the car and stopped frequently to walk about, then we'd move onto the next spot.  It was a lot of fun and the perfect way to lead up to dinner back at the motorhome.
